I work as a solicitor and frequently need to gather signatures to exchange with the other side before dating. The fact that AdobeSign locks the documents after the signatures are collected is a real problem as I am unable to compile the counterparties signatures into the same document as my client's signatures or to date the document. I end up having to print it out and scan it back in to get an editable PDF. Does anyone have a better method, as it seems counterintuitive to one of the aims of DocuSign, which is to save paper!
Hi, I guess it's locked as a secure way to ensure it's the final signed document. We use the 'print scan to PDF' option and then you can use Adobe Editor - no printing required!

Hi Emelia,
Thank you for reaching out.
Adobe Sign document gets encrypted once all the recipients sign it. It is not possible to make changes to that document after that.
If you can share more details about what you are trying to achieve, we will provide you with the correct information.
Let us know if you need any help.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
