LiveCycle ES4 files uploaded to EchSign

New Here ,
Jan 14, 2016 Jan 14, 2016

When we upload a file from LC ES4 to Echo Sign Signature (a pdf form), it does not honor the formatting and display as they are set in LC ES4.

When we upload the file to Echo Sign the phone number field i set in LC to display as (123) 456-7890 now displays as 1234567890 with no display formatting, seems Echo Sign strips it or ignores it during the upload because its looking for text tags to format the fields.

This is a major pain on 48 pages of pdf's that have all kinds of formatting on them.

It is forcing us to touch every field in the uploaded files to set formatting , and we all love doing things twice...

I have a ticket in, put was hoping i could get some experience strength and hope from the community

thanks

Hi MyTechWizard,

The documents which are created using LifeCycle are not supported by Echosign, as both the applications are designed & created using different technology and platforms which is why they do not support all types of files.

Basically, Adobe EchoSign supports multiple file types, that include .pdf, Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx), Microsoft Excel (.xls and .xlsx), text (.txt), Rich Text (.rtf ), graphics (.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .png), web (.htm, .html).

Hope this information is helpful.

Regards,

Anubha
