Hello,
Is there a way to mark documents as complete without having to use cancel? All but one recipient has signed the douments. Moving forward I'd like to complete the documents without this last persons signature. I can download the documents with the completed signatures, but if I use cancel to stop requesting the signature for the unsigned recipient, all documents are deleted from all recipents.
To be more clear, I'd like to remove the recipient who is not signing after all others have signed and have the signature request shown as complete intead of canceled.
Thanks!

I am in a similar position. I would either like to "complete" the document without the (two) missing signatures, or (at least) be able to obtain a certificate confirming the other have all signed.
Please help!

No, one cannot mark a document "compelted" if it still has signatures missing. You can either cancel it or redo without the signature that's missing.

Dear Mariah
I really appreciate the speedy response. Is it possible to "redo without the missing signature" without the need to have all the other signatories resign? I have 25 signatories! If this is possible, could you guide me on how to do it?
thanks again!
Richard

Sorry, Richard, That is not possible. You would need to redo all signatures.

Hi Shelly,
We can't remove a signer from a document in flight, however, you can try the replace recipient feature instead. The Replace recipient feature allows you to replace the inactive recipient with someone with similar signing authority.
You may refer to this article to know more about how to replace recipient in a document in flight:
https://helpx.adobe.com/in/sign/using/manage/replace-recipient.html
NOTE: You will be able to use this feature if your account admin has enabled it. If you don't see replace signer, you can reach out to your Adobe Acrobat Sign account admin to enable this feature for you.
Regards,
BR
