OAuth redirect not working for Adobe Acrobat Pro account

Hello friends

I recently developed an API integration with the Adobe Sign API for our web application. It follows  the guidelines found at https://www.adobe.io/apis/documentcloud/sign/docs.html#!adobedocs/adobe-sign/master/gstarted/get_acc... to require an access token using the OAuth flow.

I have successfully tested this integration for the last 2 weeks, but when my colleague tried to test the integration, she does not get redirected back to our web app. The OAuth flow that should redirect the user back to our application with the authorization code does not work. The flow is as follows:

- user clicks Connect on our web app

- user is redirected to the authorization endpoint https://secure.eu1.echosign.com/public/oauth

- user enters credentials

- at this point, Adobe should display the scopes that the app will use and the user has to agree with, instead the user is immediately redirected to https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/ after entering their password.

What i found out so far:

During my tests, i used the free trial version of an Adobe Sign account that i created at https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/sign/free-trial-global-test.html

The authorization flow works if i use the account created by this website (a personal, Adobe Sign account?). After entering my password, i get the consent page and after accepting i get redirected to my web page.

-> see screenshot 1

When my colleague created an account, she did this through the form located at https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/free-trial-download.html

I'm not sure what the difference is, i think the second link might be a business account that unlockes ALL Adobe Acrobat Pro features and apps. But when using an account of this type, the authorization flow does NOT work like it should. After entering my password, i do not get a consent page and i get immediately redirected to the home page of Adobe Acrobat at https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/

-> see screenshot 2

Extra info:

- the app was created on a free developer account

- i correctly set the callback URL on the app that i created on my developer account

- the client ID & secret is passed correctly

Does anyone have any idea what the cause of this issue might be and how i can resolve this?

Thank you

Glenn
