Hi Piotrs,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As you are experiencing the issue while sending a PDF as an attachment via Outlook, could you please confirm the Adobe application you are using the file.

It will be helpful if you can share the exact steps you do while sending the PDF.

Also, share the screenshot of the option you do select when you receive the error message.

Please check once if you have selected the Microsoft Outlook as the default application to send the PDF under the preferences.

To check that, launch the application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Email Accounts. Check the list of email accounts there and the default account set there.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thank you for sharing the information.

Could you please let us know how do you generally check your emails on the system.

Do you check them online or you use the email client installed on your system?

Have you ever used Outlook to check your emails?

Please share the information as asked above.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi Pete,

Sorry for the delay in response.

I see that you have already set the Outlook as the default application for Email.

Please try once to repair the application. Check if that helps.

Launch the application and go to Help menu > Repair installation.

Once done, re-launch the application and go to Edit menu > Preferences > Email Accounts.

Click on "Default email application (Microsoft Outlook)" and then "Make default" tab below.

After that click OK at the bottom of the preferences window.

Then check if you can attach the file.

If that does not work then, you can also try resetting the preferences of the application.

Take help of the steps mentioned here How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Check if that makes any difference.

Please also let us know if this issue occurs on the systems at works or on the personal machines.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi
