What does the above error message mean and how do I correct it? I have received the same one multiple times now when I try so submit and send a document for signing.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for reaching out.
You seem to have not added the form field for a particular signer on any document you have added for signature.
The error message appears when you add a recipient as approver and do not add any field for them.
Please let us know if that is not the case.

I found this information at your website (Allow various recipient roles (adobe.com)), "Approvers are not required to sign or interact with any fields. All approvers need to do is enter their name before sending the transaction to the signers. Fields can be assigned to approvers, and if those fields are required, they need to fill them out. The approver role works well for situations where someone needs to "okay" a document before it's sent off to the signer."
But you are saying the above is incorrect and that the approver is required to sign or interact with a field?

Hi there,
I'm having the same issue as Philip. I will just try and let the process take its course because I gather that maybe the error might have no consequence. But it would be nice to have reassurance with such an obviously contradictory point. So I'd invite someone from Adobe to please advise and clarify.

Update: Not only could I not send the contract, the whole process actually aborted without being saved. This is actually pretty annoying. So what to do with an approver who does not need to sign? Could you please solve this issue?
