"Could not Send Error" when Specifying Where to Fill & Sign in ACROBAT DC

I get a "Could not Send" Error when I have specified an email recipient and get to 60% when I am preparing to specify where to sign. The PDF is only 2.0MB, so I don't understand why I am having this problem.

Any suggestions?

Hi there!

Sorry for the delay in response to your issue. Hoping that you might have resolved the issue by now.

If you are still experiencing the same issue, then you may try the following steps-

1- Did you check with any other document than this? If not, then please check if this happens while specifying the signer on any other document?

2- For testing, if Acrobat DC is giving error then try accessing the service online: Adobe Document Cloud

3-If it works online, then you try disabling the Acrobat's security settings following these steps-

Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected View" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader

Note: Changing the above security settings could pose security risks. We suggest you to turn it back On once you are done with testing

Hello  - I am having the exact same issue with any/all files. I followed the steps above and nothing works. In the online version, the page sits in a "loading/process' state (with rotating blue circle). Using the Adobe DC reader, it errors at 60% just like the OP. Of note, I've had this issue intermittently in the past, and could get files to send (requesting signature) seemingly by luck. I cannot seem to get it to work at all anymore.
