"Read timed out" error

I'm getting a fairly undescriptive error ("Read timed out") when I go to generate a document with Salesforce CPQ. I have the Adobe Sign for Salesforce CPQ connector installed and the agreement template I'm using is linked to my quote template. I can't seem to see anything that is wrong with either of them, and the error isn't giving me anything to go on.

Has anyone seen this before or could anyone help out with fixing this error?

My support case was escalated through Adobe Support, and no resolution was reached because it was determined that no Adobe Sign functionality was causing the error.

Error is not occurring in production after deploying configuration to production. Will file a case with Salesforce CPQ if the problem arises again in production.
