Send for Signature is changing Prefilled data

I have numerous pull down list fields with default values that are set " to allow user to enter custom text".  Whe ncustom text is entered during the Prefill stage and the document is saved and "Sent for Signature", none of the custom text is retained.  Instead the data is overwritten by the Default values.

Can you share the document with us and point us to the field in question? Also, let us know which version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat are you using to send document out.
