someone sent me an e-signed document through Adobe and i can't download the document. I can see an image of the signed document in the email sent through Adobe for the signed document.  I can follow the link provided.  But I get the below error trying to download the document.  The document was created today.

Hello,

As you mentioned that you are unable to download the document, I would suggest you to register with Adobe Document Cloud as a Trial user and download the document by signing into your account.

Please follow the link to register: Global Trial Registration | eSign services from Adobe.

Once the account is registered, please follow the steps mentioned below:-

- Login to your account

- Go to manage page

- Select the document under signed documnets

- Click PDF option on the right side window

- Download the document

Please let me know if this helps.

Regards,

Nakul

Hi Nakul ,

It no longer matters. We ended up taking other measures because of the time crunch and could not find any direct contact for Adobe support.

But as for your suggestion. What’s the point of being able to e-sign and send an email directing someone to download a document, if all parties have to register for the service. It seems like more effort than convenience. It would also be more effort than our eventual solution of taking a picture of the document with her phone and emailing it to me.

My other thought on your suggestion is wouldn’t she have to re-email me the document anyways if I wasn’t registered before she sent me the first document. Otherwise the account wouldn’t associate the first emailed document with my account, so it could open it. If that’s the case, then the original issue was never solved, just set aside and re-attempted. Since she ended up re-attempting to send me the document anyways via other means, our solution was faster and easier.
