Hello,
I am creating a template in Adobe Acrobat Sign to be used as a template for our clients to sign.
I have added the signature block to our form, however when sending the form out to be signed - the persons signature and name are overlapping in the same box.
There is only been one signature box added to our template and each time you sign the form you are also asked to enter your full name. Unsure if there is a way to turn off the enter name function?
You can see in the first image - the form asks you to sign and enter your name and in the second screen shot, the typed name is sitting under the signature.
Have tried quite a few times to disbale certain settings but nothing is working.
Thanks in advance - hoping someone has gone through the same issue?
Cheers,
Karena

Hi Karena,
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.
Could you please confirm the signature field you are adding to the form? Would you mind sharing the screenshot?
We have tried to replicate the behavior, and the name does not appear on the document along with the signature.
Do you experience the issue only with a particular PDF?
Try sending a document to your alternate email address and check if you get the same results.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

Hello, was wondering if this issue was resolved?
Currently facing the same exact issue on my end - where the name and the signatures are overlapping.
When done by Participant 1 - it looks normal
but once the contract is send to Participant 2 for their signatures, the overlap is seen.

Hi Production5FAB,
Thank you for reaching out.
Please confirm if this happens with other documents. Or this is an issue with this particular file.
Try sending documents using the same workflow to your alternate emails.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Meenakshi

HI @Production5FAB We were able to resolve it by using the online Adobe version, as the same issue didn't seem to happen with the overlapping. Then on the desktop version the issue seemed to have stopped.
Unsure how it fixed itself as we did the exact same things. Sorry I am not sure how it fixed itself but we are not having the same issue anymore.
Wishing you the best of luck to resolving it,
Cheers,
Karena

Hi @Meenakshi Negi thanks for getting in touch.
We were adding a signature field to this document for our client to sign. Each time we did it the signature and name would overlap. I ended up trying it through the online version and the issue did not happen. However on the desktop version the issue still happens.
Unsure if it is the form itself? As it is a form we use for approvals with local government processes?
I did try a different version of this form and it didn't cause the same issue.
Look forward to your reply,
Cheers,
Karena
