I send invoices in bulk and I am now unable to move the template field with my mouse but also I am unable to copy different elements of the template and move them to the next page for mulitple sign off. I havent had this issue before with Adobe and I've been using it for nearly 3 years.

I'm having the same issue all of a sudden. I was hoping someone on here had an answer as there is no support for Adobe Sign that I can find - it keeps sending me back to the log in page.

Hi Cindy,
I've managed to find a way around this, I'm not sure if you use the same sort of templates as me but if you do then on the left hand side of the fields in your template there should be a verticle line of little dots, if you highlight the whole template and grab one of the fields over the little dots you should be able to move the whole template, this should also work if you just wanted to move one field from the template.
Hope that makes sense and hope it works for you too, it's a bit of a hassle but thats the only way I've found that works.

We discovered that instead of clicking anywhere in the field and dragging it to the location you want it, you have to click on the colored triange on the top right corner of the field in order to move it where you need to place it. So silly that they changed something so easy and convenient.

Whoever thought of this I'm sure intended it to be an "enhancement," but it's not. While nothing seems to have changed with the data options for each field, the field positioning has to be done using the arrow keys on the keyboard. And yes, we can resize using the triangle at the lower right corner, there's no way to manually align multiple fields or make them the same height or width. And get this, somehow some auto detected fields are linked so when you delete on, the linked field(s) disappears also. Thanks for your reply.

Just started having the same issue myself. Once you place a field on a template that's fewer than 25 pages, you can't move or resize the fields using the editing tools at the top of the Adobe Sign window. I heard it's related to the auto detect fields functionality and managed in an Admin setting, which can be applied to groups or individuals. Unfortunately, my Admin folks are unaware of it and admit that they don't know where to look for it. I create short agreement files all the time and to no longer be able to opt out of field auto detect is really bad news. For more lengthy agreements, it's even worse. Those agreements have many elements that LOOK like a field but aren't. I used to opt out of the auto detect prompt and would then scroll to the locations where I wanted a field. Now, I have to scroll through the entire document to make sure there are no stray fields placed where they shouldn't be placed. This field position lock down problem arises when performing a bulk send, an individual send, and when creating a template - at least it's consistent. I've seen posts that suggest you move the document underneath the fields for proper placement. While that's a potential solution a few situations, it doesn't address the inability to select multiple fields and make them the same size or align them with one another. Does anyone have any direction to disable the forced field detection setting so I can pass it on to my Adobe Sign Admin? Thanks.

Good Morning Bobby & Cindy,
I just thought I'd let you know that my Adobe is working properly now, exactly how it used to before. I havent done any updates or changed anything and when I logged on this morning the template field is back to how it used to be, I can highlight, move and copy the whole template and individual fields. Just wanted to let you know in case you're both still having issues.
Cheers,

I just put together a couple test docs and didn't have any problem either! Prior to today, I didn't have the same problems in Edge as I did with Chrome. Glad the app is back to its old self! Thanks for the note! Happy signing!
