Webform look up to another data source to populate fields

I have a webform created which requires a unique customer number

I have a data set that has all of the customer numbers + attributes that I would like to pull in to the webform to minimize data entry by the customer. I have that in Salesforce but could also place in google sheets, share point or other to access.

Is there a way for me to have the customer fill out the customer number and then have the other data points pull from another source?

Thank you any tips are appreciated.

Hello Wendy,

I hope you are doing well. I understand from the above description that you want to add other files into the web form to take data as a reference.

You can add files to your form if you want it to take a reference to the web form.

Click here to learn more: Create a web form (adobe.com)

Let me know if it helps.

Thanks,

Souvik.

Thank You! I was trying more to use another file as a reference to look up data to populate a form. Not sure if that makes sense. I have a dealer number field on the webform. On a spreadsheet (i could store in google or sharepoint) I have that dealer number then the dealer name and address. If they fill out the dealer number I want to do a search for it in to the sheet. Not sure if possible but have urgent need for this.
