What parameter determines if a signer has to sign into Echosign to sign a Document?

Hello, I'm using the SOAP API to send library documents out to clients. Some clients have had to log in to/have an account with Echosign before being able to sign the document, others the agreement is just available and they can sign it. Is there a parameter in the API that allows a user not to have to be logged in? My clients don't want to have their own Echosign account, they just want to be able to sign the document.

Thanks

Hello Nbennett25,

By default, the signers are not required to login first to esign document. I would still recommend to open ticket with Support and provide them the signer's email address so that they can quickly check it:
