Last December I called in to the sales team asking them which solution would work for me. I needed to do in-person signatures (via tablet) and needed to edit PDF files. The sales rep at that time recommended I get Adobe Acrobat Pro Dc as it came with Adobe Echosign and would allow me to do the need in-person signing free of charge. Fast forward to last week, an account executive called me telling me that I have exceeded the Adobe Sign transcation limit (which is 300/year apparently) and that I could either A) upgrade to a new plan or B) pay the overage fee ($3.50/transaction). I kindly explained that never once did the sales rep tell me anything about the limitations had I known I would never have exceeded that amount. Ofcourse the account exec. ignored my claim and again gave me the options listed above. I then asked her why Adobe waited so long to contact me and why there are not limitations/warnings/notifications telling me that I was exceeding the allotted transactions to which I was told to "re-read the terms of usage and agreement". I have looked through my whole account looking for an explanation/description of what my account entails, what type of Adobe Sign account I have, and what the limitations are but I cannot find any details as such. Its as if the account site was purposely created to confuse people so they can't find the information they need.
So, 1) where do i find this information, 2) why aren't there any notifications telling you you are exceeding the allotted transactions 3) why did adobe wait so long to notify me? (its as if they were waiting for me to ensare myself deeper in to their trap before coming in for the kill )
Am I the only person that has experienced this??
Hi taiL,
I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
Please be informed with Acrobat DC subscription you get Adobe Sign Individual account for free that offers 300 transactions per year i.e 25 transactions per month.
However there is no hard-capping. But if you continuously exceed the transaction limit you will asked to upgrade the Adobe Sign account individually as it's a violation of "fair usage policy".
You can contact our Sales team on the number mentioned in the below link for
