Started playing with the geospatial creator and noticing some issues/challenges to the current implementation.
1. If an asset is tagged to a lat/long coordinate, the application overly-relies on scanning the environment and not on the placed asset. For example, testing an item attached to 60 feet above my house and the only manner in which the view loads is from the street view of the house, not the back or anywhere other than the front. The application should have all the information it requires from the anchor coordinates and placement of the model, yet that does not seem accurate at this point.
2. The anchor seems to be fluid. An item should not track as you walk down the street, but rather be anchored allowing the viewer to walk "around" the item.
3. There is a definite disparity between the placement of the item in the tool and its appearance in the application while on location.
I think this has some good beginnings, but there are issues in a mature industry that I would not have expected to see in the tool at this juncture.
