Is there an easier way to export multiple shapes to your desktop (Mac)?

Is there an easier way to export multiple shapes in Capture (or other Adobe iPhone app) to your desktop (Mac)?

Right now I have to export them individually and it takes forever. After a week of making shapes I have over 400 files.

I can see them in Bridge and Photoshop, but I can export them easily anywhere that I know.

I'd like to be able to select all and export at once so I can have the files as a PDF so I can use them later.

Any ideas?

Hi DiazArtist.

Unfortunately, right now, they do need to be saved one-at-a-time.

However, this equest, for the ability to batch export shapes, has come up a couple of times and I just forwarded it to the product manager for Capture so that it could be considered for future Capture updates.

Sorry I can't offer a solution right now.

Sue.

Thanks for the update, Sue. I use Capture as a good way to make high contrast photography that I can use as reference for artwork. I use them as I would photographs where I would grab a batch of them from a day of shooting and would love to download them quick as PDFs in case I would like to resize them. It is nice to have the ability to grab them as SVGs, but I rather have the ability of getting them as vector shapes in case the project required large scale images.

HI DiazArtist.

Just wanted to make sure you knew that you could access all of your Shapes from the Libraries panel in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Have you tried accessing them there?

Sue.

Yes Sue, I saw you can "place" the svg file which is nice. I wish you can drag and drop multiple into a current document. That way I might be able to run an action to make them into individual files I can access later. So far it's been hard to have these multiple capture images accessible as a stand alone file. I figure the idea for this is to use them as a piece or tool instead of create documents outside of the mobile setting. I don't know.

DiazArtist.

Thanks for this additional description about how you're wanting to handle the shapes (both from the app and on the desktop); it's not only different than I was imagining but a bit different than any request I've received previously.

As I mentioned this multi-shape export capability is something that comes up from time-to-time so the team does discuss how to handle it (primarily from a UI perspective) so I've already shared your comments with Capture's product manager so that when discussing multiple-shape export she can take your unique "workflow" into consideration.

Thanks for posting in such detail, it's really helpful.

Sue.

Hi there -

I am curious about this and wonder if this bulk feature has been updated or added. This would be a game changer for my business and would keep me using Adobe products instead of looking for another solution.

Thank you so much!
