This shouldn't be happening! Do you happen to get an error message pop-up, or does the page not load when you try to access recent files? Can you please share a screenrecording of the workflow you're following and the experience you're getting? Also, can you test once in private/incognito browsing mode to see if that makes any difference?
Thanks for checking. There is a possibility that the issue lies with the Chrome browser. Were there any new plugins/extensions installed in the browser? Can you try clearing the cache/cookies of Google Chrome for a longer time frame? You may also need to check if the browser is updated to its latest official version.
