Adobe Express Slow and Glitchy

Community Beginner ,
Nov 05, 2025 Nov 05, 2025

The past week has been painful to use Adobe Express on my devices.   Benn using the same laptop for years without issue but everything on Adobe Express has slowed down with my other applications running as normal.   I have traced and identified and found this lag to be only associated with Adobe Express.

Reboooted laptop and still have same issues.   Tried multiple machines and have same issues on multiple machines.   Loading a project is painfully slow.  It starts to load then hangs and then loads a bit more and hangs.  This keeps going and attempting to edit any files when it's this sluggish if next to impossible.

Anyone else getting this lag?   Any Adobe experts care to weigh in or is it time to head to Canva?

Hey @Andy26411723mgqw, Welcome to our Adobe Express community, and thanks for sharing your experience. I really appreciate the detailed note!

Since Adobe Express is a web-based product, its performance can depend on several external factors, including internet connectivity & stability, browser settings, and system/network settings.

Here are some quick checks and resources that might help:

  • Make sure your internet connection is stable (since Express runs entirely online)
  • Use the latest official version of a supported browser (avoid beta versions)
  • Try clearing your browser cache and cookies for a long time
  • Ensure no active VPN or firewall is blocking Express services
  • Add Adobe Express domains to your allow list if you’re on a restricted network

Best!
