Adobe Fonts Not Working

New Here ,
Oct 23, 2024 Oct 23, 2024

I can't get any Adobe Fonts to import into Express. It doesn't even load as an option. I opened Creative Cloud and the font does show there. I tried to download the font to my computer, but it downloaded nothing so I can't attempt to force the font to import.

I got the font to load into one of my libraries. When I go to the library, click the font, and then hit "place" I get the following error.

I am having a somewhat similar issue. I can't get any Adobe Fonts to import into Express. It doesn't even load as an option. I opened Creative Cloud to try and download the font to my computer, but it downloaded nothing so I can't attempt to force the font to import.

Hi

@Grace3411931783lp

,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd like to inform you that extracting the font files from their obscured location is a violation of our end-user license agreement. Also, Adobe Fonts does not provide font files to use locally.

What Adobe Font are you searching for? Can you find that font here: https://adobe.ly/4hsEe42? If so, were you able to activate it in other Adobe apps? Is it possible for you to share the screen recording of the issue?

Regards,

Tarun

Hello, I'm not sure what you mean by "extracting the font files from their obscured location." When I add a font via Adobe Fonts, it then gives me the option in Creative Cloud to download the font to my computer. The option says, "Click here to install for non-Adobe apps." I'm not trying to steal any fonts, just trying to get this one to work properly. I have no interest in using it outside of Adobe products. Screenshot 2024-10-23 120159.png

Yes, I can access the font at the link you provided. Howver, I can not active it in other Adobe apps and the only error screen I recieve is attached to my original post.

Thanks for the info @Grace3411931783lp,

Please let us know the version of the Creative Cloud desktop app you're on. Also, uninstalling the Creative Cloud app by using the cleaner tool- https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html and install again. Once it is installed, restart the device and try again and see if that helps.

Tarun
