This sounds frustrating, and it shouldn't be happening at all. Can you please share what device you are working on? Try working in incognito/private browsing mode if you're using a desktop. Also, is the audio working on the editor window, and is it not mistakenly muted? Can you try changing the audio and then downloading it to see if that makes any difference? Please share your findings with us.
