files missing

I just created a gif last friday (first did the layout and i saved as mp4 and then converted to gif. File is missing...where did this file go? first time really using AE and linking to illustrator library. I don't understand what is going on?

Came here to try and find the answer to same question. Its not very clear how to reopen something you were working previously is it.

Can you see it it in the recent files list of the creative cloud app?

Or if you have a  creative cloud folder on your file explorer somewhere do you have a cloud documents shortcut there?

Thats the options I can see on mine, but not 100% certain this is the best/easiest way.

If you download one of your projects from within Adobe Express the output should go the default download location for the browser, typically the downloads folder on your computer.
