Font color changes crashes my software

New Here ,
Mar 24, 2025 Mar 24, 2025

changeing colors on my fonts causes a crash everytime.

everytime

I believe im fully up to date and I run the pro suite through our business account at the SENECA Nation Of Indians .

I believe our contact person is Jessie Garlow

we just had an adbobe training with people form the california adobe offices come to Niagra falls NY for our deprstments training and they suggested I make a ticket becasue theyve never heard of this. i thought at one point i had too many colors saved .

every single time I click on the color box that says fill, it takes about 20 seconds to open, my sofeware freezes during thsi time , i cannot click on other things or even revert back out of trying to choose a color.

then lets me scroll very clitchy like to selecet a colr

, after I select a color it crashes, then I have to reopen it and the correct color is on there but this is insanely slow and a huge problem. and again its every time I try to change a font color.

I work on a microsoft studio 2 - its a very highly equipped computer for Express

my video file was too large to send

Hi @allison_7712,

It sounds incredibly frustrating to experience crashes every time you change font colors, especially when working on a high-performance device like the Microsoft Studio 2. Since you've already ensured your software is up to date, here are some additional steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Reset Adobe Express Preferences – Corrupt preferences can sometimes cause crashes. Try resetting them or reinstalling the app to see if the issue persists.

  2. Disable GPU Acceleration – If hardware acceleration is enabled, turning it off in the settings may improve stability.

  3. Test in a New Project – Create a fresh project and try changing the font color to determine if the issue is project-specific.

  4. Check for Conflicting Saved Colors – Since you mentioned having many saved colors, try clearing or reducing them to see if it improves performance.

  5. Try a Different Adobe Profile – If possible, log in with another Adobe account to check if the problem is related to your business account settings.

  6. Check System Resource Usage – Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) while using Adobe Express to see if there's an unusual spike in CPU or memory usage when changing colors.

If this didn't help, I suggest submitting detailed system logs and, if possible, a screen recording to help us diagnose the issue faster. If you need help with that, please don't hesitate to let me know!

Best regards,

^MM
