When resizing an image in Adobe Express, your decision to DEFAULT to the a checked box consentinf to using  "Generative fill" for missing elements is REDUCULOUS.  Especially given that it tries to fill in the "missing" parts when there are no parts missing.

It costs me SO much more time to turn the feature off, especially when I am moving fast and forget that your are forcing me to use the feature when I will never, ever need to use your AI tools in my projects.

That you just ham-handedly slapped it into a vital tool like this is a testament to the regard you have for your users- absolutely none.

Please develop a way that we can turn off all AI tools and AI generated art. There are many of us still using your software that believe artt should come from human artists, and not some AI tool that a tech villain used to steal from actual artists.

Hi

@Troy.ae

,

Thank you for sharing your concerns and suggestions regarding the Generative Fill feature in Adobe Express. I'd suggest you submit your feedback here- https://adobe.ly/3ZO8yPz, as this page is being monitored by our product team.

Nope. I've used up all the time I've allotted for dealing with Adobe
shenanigans. If Adobe doesn't pay attention to this forum, why is it here?
What is the purpose of this space then? If you are saying this space isn't
functional, that's both good to know and explains a lot.

No. I'm not chasing Adobe developers down. If they can't be bothered, why
would I be expected to?

I'm not the one getting paid- I'm the one paying.

I agree with troy, yall want feedback but send us in LOOPS to provide it. the app crashed and stops mid project and this issue of the resizing is annoying. I dont need ai assistance everywhere, if i want it I should be able to enable it not have it by default. We are paying for a service that has seriously degraded in the past 4 months.

How does one uncheck that ai resizing thing. I have currently destroyed two different projects I am going to have to remake just because I wanted to resize them. I thought that I could just delete the background and remake it, but it just pulls the distorted one back in when I attempt it.

I wish there was a way, I've gotten really fast at cancelling the conversion in mid try, because it kind of spools up and shows a pulsating asset, like a creepy Artificially Intelligent animal getting ready to throw up all over your hard work.

I'm trying to remember that Adobe has set this AI trap for us, but invariably I forget. Now cancelling does stop it, but of course it resets your dimensions so you have to re-enter everything in again - especially obnoxious when you have multiple things you are trying to resize.

Artificial intelligence artlessly forced into places you never needed or wanted it is all the rage right now. Maybe we should cool our jets on implementing the artificial stuff until we've had the time to get the human intelligence working.
