Happening again: Sorry, something went wrong during the file upload. Please try again in few minutes

Myself and an associate get this error when trying to load videos we have created in Adobe Express...

"Sorry, something went wrong during the file upload. Please try again in few minutes"

Chatted with Adobe Support who said they had no reports of this, but looking at other Help Community posts this has been going on for a while. Saying they reported to developers, but essentially if there is no ETA on a fix and you can't attach creations you made in Express to scheduled posts this is useless.

I know you can make creations, download them and re-upload them, but it's incredibly inefficient when other social media management tools just work. But I get AE Premium so I expect it should be working.

Try again later with no ETA is no solution.

To be helpful if we creata background image and text layers that CAN attach. If we do a simple background image with text already in it from Photoshop and animate that that CAN attach. But any background image with text layers in AE that animates FAILS to attach. And we are talking short, 5 second videos.

Hi @SCAgency

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Is the issue only with videos? Do images work okay? Were the files created with Express or an Adobe app? What is the file format of the videos? How large are the video files?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi

@erin_0155

,

We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please elaborate more on the issue you're experiencing? Are you getting any error messages? If so, can you share the screen recording of the issue?

Also, have you tried using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) or incognito mode to see if it makes a difference? Try clearing the browser's cache and cookies, restarting the browser and check if that helps.

For more info on how to clear cache and cookies, check this link- https://adobe.ly/3DrJN2W

Tarun

I, too, am experiencing a return of this problem. I've restarted the browser and re-logged in. I suppose I could try the list of other time-consuming work-arounds. But I have to ask -- "Why?"

I use dozens of web services and if they failed to work once every month or two, I'd be looking for a new bank, SAAS provider, game platform, or calendar app. My point is, these apps don't have this continuing issue. In the rare times they do, they relay more information than: "Sorry, something went wrong during the file upload. Please try again in few minutes."

I mentioned this in another thread. But more than new features, I would prefer if Adobe Express made publishing to social media reliable and get it to work consistently.

Only happens on videos created in Express. Uploading videos from Premiere work fine

The only videos that work from Express are ones with a background image and simple animation. If you add anything else to the timeline it will NOT import.
