Library Assets Blurry

Explorer ,
Jun 03, 2025 Jun 03, 2025

Hello

For the last couple of days, any image which I've imported into an Adobe Express project from a Library are appearing blurry and pixelated. The image remains pixelated when the project is downloaded as a JPG, so it doesn't appear to be just a display issue.

If I store the same image locally on my PC and import it into my Express project, the image looks fine.

Is there currently an issue with images stored in Libraries?

I'm using Adobe Express on a PC using Chrome (Windows 11 Pro, version 10.0.26100). I've also tested it in Edge and get the same issue. Other members of my team are also having the same issue using images stored in our libraries.

Thanks

Gary

Hello @GaryD85. Thanks for reaching out, and I’m really sorry to hear you and your team are experiencing this issue. To resolve this, try clearing unused Library assets, ensuring high image resolution, clearing your browser cache, and using local imports as a workaround. Make sure Adobe Express is up to date. If the problem persists, please share with us screenshots, image specs, and whether the issue affects all projects.

Thanks,

Chaimaa

I am having the same problem. When I import an image from an Adobe library, it's blurry and pixelated. The exact same image imported directly from my hard drive looks fine, so it's clearly a problem with Libraries. I need to be able to use Libraries for my workflow so PLEASE FIX THIS.

Hello

This issue is still happening after clearing the cache etc. Below are examples of the issue. The first image is importing the image via the Library, the second image is importing the exact same image via local storage.

Sorry, the images uploaded in the opposite order above - the first image is from local storage, the second is from the Library. The image files are identical. If I open the Library version of the image in Photoshop it looks fine, in Express it's blurry/pixelated.

I've just tried deleting and re-adding the asset, and that seems to have fixed the pixelation issue. But, I've just tried a few other images without re-adding them to the library and they're now working fine, so maybe this is an intermittent issue with Express?
