No Upload from Google Drive

Prior to the recent upgrade, I used to be able to import photos directly from Google Drive, which was very helpful because of the search feature. Now it looks like I need to use Finder/Windows Explorer. What happened to that functionality?

I can't answer they why question but it is a feature planned to be brought back. You can follow progress and add your thoughts on features at the Adobe Express Uservoice.
