Text objects not duplicating (or duplicates not visible)

Often when I check the + box to duplicate a text object, the new object is show in the layers but is nowhere on the screen.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache/cookies yet? Sometimes, that can fix unexpected issues. If not, using a different browser/incognito mode might work too.
