The 2025 Generative Fill is a game-changer! 
I’m using it daily now to create quick thumbnails and funny skins for my little gaming corner.

I also use it for making quick Stumble Guys thumbnails and memes.

Faster performance?  Everything listed takes 10 times longer to do now that you've ruined the program. 
On what devices is all of this stuff you listed possible?
Also, keep your AI. I can do this stuff myself if I have a program that functions. 

And where is the Nudge feature? What genius decided to remove a feature that lets you do fine alignment? I know who: someone who doesn't use the program. 
Give us a way to put a cursor in front of or behind an element, and use the space bar or backspace keys to move it.

You have programmers there. If I can think that idea up, somebody can program it, surely. 
Why does it literally take 30 minutes to do something that it used to take 3 minutes to do? 
Why didn't you tell us you were going to make Express incompatible with mobile devices? You've made a lie out of the word Express. There's nothing fast about using this thing now. 

Lastly, here's another idea:

Bring back the version of Express you had before you ruined it. Yeah, the version without all the AI BS.
Offer that old version for $9.99 and call it Express, then charge Premium for this new mess you've created. Call it ExpressAI.

If you can't have a real person who can write a response without relying on a bot to express a thought, then don't bother leaving a boilerplate ChatGPT response.

One thing that keeps getting missed in these discussions is workflow consistency.

A lot of creators don’t need more features — they need the same actions to behave the same way every time. When familiar controls disappear or performance drops, even simple projects start feeling heavy and slow.

I mostly focus on visual layouts and interface-style designs for mobile-first content, so I spend more time studying structure and spacing than using AI tools. I’ve been collecting and sharing a few layout references and template-style resources I use for practice and mockups, including some inspired by apps like Yacine TV. I’ve put those up here for anyone interested:

At the end of the day, speed comes from predictable tools. New tech is great, but not at the cost of basic usability.

Honestly, I think both sides here are valid.

The newer Express updates do help some creators, especially for fast content like Shorts and gaming thumbnails, but the performance issues and removed features are real and frustrating. Losing basic things like proper nudge control slows everything down, not speeds it up.

I personally use Express mainly for quick Stumble Guys thumbnails and memes, and having the right canvas sizes ready saves me time more than the AI features themselves. I actually put together a small free pack of ready-sized templates for Shorts and mobile just because I kept redoing the same layouts. If it helps anyone, it’s here:

That said, Adobe really needs to listen to long-time users. Faster workflows, basic alignment tools, and stability matter more than adding AI on top of a broken experience.

I personally use anime for multiple puposes such as creating unique content, short clips and visuals. However, smooth navigation help to improve workflow.

Thanks for sharing this update. SVG imports and proper video layers are especially welcome additions. Being able to bring in SVGs and keep them editable is a big quality-of-life improvement for anyone trying to maintain brand consistency across formats.

The one-click brand setup also looks promising. Automating brand kits from existing assets can save a lot of manual cleanup, especially for teams that are not design-heavy but still need consistent visuals.

I appreciate that the team explicitly acknowledged user feedback here. That transparency goes a long way and makes it easier to trust the direction of the product. I have seen similar clarity issues matter a lot on informational platforms like Smart Square Wellstar, where reducing friction and confusion ends up being more valuable than adding flashy features.
