Adobe Express Did Not Notify Me Of Post

Hi, all. i have posts scheduled today that I needed to be oush notified to post. I have the app and logged in, but 9 AM came around and no notification from the app. There is nothing that says "Scheduler" in the app. I had to make a Google Calendar alert and re-download the asset to be able to post on time. I never had this issue with Content Cal and need to be able to post to complete my job. I have all notifications on, so please advis

Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry you're having difficulties with the Notifications on the Scheduler.

 

Do you mind sharing a bit more information on this? E.g., Is this happening on all social media handles or only on one?, also what type of post was it (Story, video, image, carousel, etc.) Format of file etc.

 

Kindly also include a walkthrough video and a copy of the file you're trying to post.

 

You may also want to clear the browser's cache and cookies.

You may also try using a different browser or accessing it in incognito or private mode to see if that helps.

If the above steps don't help, try resetting your browser, rest your Scheduler, and let us know the outcome.

Hi Lyn_D – 

 

I deleted the app and redownloaded it on iOS 16.3.1. On Saturday, I scheduled a post for Monday, March 20 at 9 AM ES (today) on Google Chrome. This time, I did receive a push notifcation at 9 AM EST but when I pressed the push alert, I was promtped to the home screen of the app (see attaached). Something seems to not be linking even though the site says it's scheduled and then the app doesn't do anything.

Thank you for your reply and for being patient.

 

Our engineers have advised that when the Instagram account is a creator/personal profile, or if the post doesn't meet Instagram's API media requirements, the post will need to be manually published via the Adobe express app, which will be reflected in the post modal as a red bell icon.

 

Due to how Instagram's API works, not all posts can be automatically published from the Adobe express web app. E.g. some posts, such as Instagram Stories, will need to be published via the mobile app.

I have included screenshots below to illustrate this behavior to assist you further.

Hello, I believe there is confusion. I am saying I have the app. I scheduled in browser and saw that I needed the app. I set it up multiple times because the first time, I received no notifcation at all. Every time afterwards, I receive notifcation on mobile. Then, when I click the notifcation, nothing happens. The manual post does not work. Please advise

Hi! I have the same problem. Have been using ContentCal before and am now starting to use Adobe Express Schedule instead. Downloaded the Adobe Express app to be able to easily publish content that cannot be auto-published.

 

However, I cannot find any tab or sheduling function at all in the app. Is there one...? Got a push notification for posting an Instagram story that I scheduled from my computer, but when I clicked on the push notification on my phone, I simply was taken to the start page in the app. I have tried over and over again, same result, sadly. 

I had to e-mail the content to myself in order to manage to post the content. Very frustrating coming from ContentCal when this workerd seamlessly. Hope you can give us an answer to why this happens and solve the problem quickly!

Hi! I cannot upload a screen recodring here of our company due to privacy reasons, sorry. But with this info down below, your dev team should be able to re-create the problem 🙂

 

I use an iPhone 11 with IOS 16.4 and the lastest version of your app: 11.14.0. 


1. I schedule the content in Adobe Express Schedule

2. I get the push notification on my phone and click on the notification

3. I come straight into the start page of the app, and never see any info on the content I'm supposed to post

 

Am I only supposed to see content synked via "schedule" when I get a push notification? Becuase I cannot see any tab or part of the app where I can get an overview of my scheduled content.
