Hello,
I tried to upload an AI file to create an instagram reel featuring artwork with minor animation. The artboard size is 1080 x 1920 but when converted to express it changes to 1440 x 2560. I've done this in the past with no difficulty when the reel dimensions were 1080 x 1080 but now I am unable to upload the file without losing resolution and resizing the file in express doesn't help.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Artful Penny
Sorry to hear about your difficulties. Can you explain more about what steps you performed when converting to express? Did you upload the AI file into an Express template? Did you choose the Express IG reel templates with a 1080x1920 resolution? Would it be possible to share screenshot and/or more details?
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for responding Dave. I do not have screenshots but I will try to give as much detail as possible. I created the file in illustrator at 1080 x 1920. I opened Adobe Express and clicked the blue + icon to upload media. I selected the AI file and chose to convert it to an express file. The resolution looked poor. I checked the resize icon and saw 1440 x 2560 which is puzzling based on the artboard size. I selected the instagram reel specs and proceeded with the animation. I made another attempt the following day but this time I clicked the import from another app option. I downloaded the video at 720p which produced the best results re resolution but Ive never had this difficulty before. I really had a challenge this time around trying to create content with the new specs for instagram. I cant imagine why the size would be so different considering the artboard size as well.
