I can no longer upload a photo to edit ever since the latest update. Even a simple .jpg doesn't work. I've cleared the cache, gotten the latest update, and restarted my phone to no avail.

Anyone have this issue or know a fix?

Hi @Josh37023907wako

This might be a known issue. Please check the workaround (in bold below)

Uploading a file from the device failed (Android).

When uploading a file from your Android device, upload may fail when selecting Photos, Videos, Take a photo, or Record a video. As a workaround, you can select Upload from device > Choose file to upload a file from your Android device.

Thanks

Abhi G

I have this same issue with the desktop application. Doesn't matter if uploading or drag n drop. PNG or JPGs all get a red error at the bottom of the screen "file not compatible". But on the browser version the I can upload with no issues into the same Express project both PNG and JPG as an upload or as a drag n drop.

I am using a Mac. Sonoma 14.4.1

Chrome browser: Version 124.0.6367.201 (Official Build) (x86_64)

I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it with no change with the error.

Hi

@creativejake

,

We're sorry for the delay. Are you trying to open the files created in the previous version of Adobe Express? Can you share the screenshot of the error you are seeing? Have you tried re-installing the app on your device to see if that helps?

Regards,

Tarun

I am using the most current version of the Desktop Adobe Express and still get the error with JPGs and MOVs.

However, when I open it in my Google Chrome, it works and I can upload those files?!

I'm having that same problem now, after a decade of uploading and about 5,000 images already up and selling.

But images from my latest shoot just don't go through. Same red error message.   HELP!
