Auto-Rotate not working on Phones or Tablets

Participant ,
Apr 19, 2022 Apr 19, 2022

I recently created and published an Adobe Creative Cloud Express project and shared the link.  People from mobile devices, for some reason, are unable to view the published project in landscape mode--it only displays in portrait mode, even if auto-rotate is enabled and the phone is positioned in a landscape position.  Is this by design now?  I believe that with Adobe Spark, such projects were able to be viewed in landscape.  Many thanks for your assistance.

Hi FScheyhahn,

I'm able to reproduce the behavior and will report it to our developers. Thank you for letting us know.

Best,

Dave

Hi FSchleyhahn,

Our developers reported back that displaying in portrait mode is the only option currently. Please add your vote and comments here to show support for having support to rotate to landscape added in the future:  https://creativecloudexpress.uservoice.com/forums/329007-creative-cloud-express-feature-suggestion/s...

I'm here having this issue more than 2 years later. Most of the slide presentation templates are landscape - and rightly so. However, when sending the view-only share links for the presentations to clients they will very often be opening it on their phone where the presentation is rendered completely unprofessional and unuseable lacking the ability to rotate. Canva does not have this issue, please tell me if I'm missing something as this will force me to abandon the idea of using adobe express for client presentations.

Hi @stacey_6842

I know that iPad version will support editing in Landscape mode once available but auto-rotating the interface based on the device orientation is still a feature request https://adobe.ly/4eOKMY9

Best,
Dave
