Autoplay video on click?

New Here ,
Aug 27, 2025 Aug 27, 2025

I have a portfolio I am working on and I'm wondering if there is 1) a way to control if a video plays on click or not, or 2) a way to insert hyperlinks into a presentation (like a button that someone can use to view a video or not.)

Hi @tonyfriedbologna,

Thanks for reaching out! We're sorry for the delay. Right now, embedded videos aren’t supported, but you can configure your presentation so that instead of autoplay, everything (including videos and animations) starts playing on click.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi @tonyfriedbologna

I would recommend ensuring your file is a presentation type. Typically, you'll select a presentation template when starting. I'll include a screenshot for reference. When you have a presentation-type file, there is a present option in the top right with a drop-down for playback options that includes that click to advance that Tarun mentioned. Note: Autoplay still requires clicking through the presentation.

Hope that helps,
Dave
