Can't access published document

I published a project and sent the link off to someone to consider my submission, however, I noticed a mistake in part of it and have tried to go in and fix the error. I have 2 similar versions of my presentation being sent to different people, they are in my files so I updated both of those projects. I went to publish both times and updated the links on them, perfect! However, the link I sent to this particular person is not the same as either of these...it is a published document with the error included but I can't access the original file anywhere - it was just a copy of the original. I tried using the link itself in my browser and placing /id/ but it appears I can't access it at all. It says 'Can't access document You do not have access to the document at that url.' How can I fix this?

Apologies for the delay. Just to clarify, you created two separate projects and identified and resolved an issue, but when you updated the link, the recipient did not receive the updated link. Is this correct? Also, can you let us know if it's a shared project or not? Have you tried duplicating the project & then make changes, then try to publish?
