Hi,

I want to upload a PDF to Adobe Express but got the following message:

"We do not support converting content in this language".

The language in my document is English.

Other similar documents can be uploaded and amended without any problems.

Am I overlooking something?

Dear Amitej,

Thank you for your reply.

Please find attached document.

I eventually managed to amend the document in Adobe Acrobat, by changing it to a Word file, make some changes and save it as a PDF again.

I'm still curious why I can't upload this document though.

Best Regards

Hey @kena_3547, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!! Thanks for posting here.

We tried reproducing the issue, but it worked fine for us. Would it be possible for you to share the document that fails when you try to upload it to Adobe Express? We may need your document to investigate further. Also, let us know the fonts used in the document.

Until then, please check the font of the second doc that uploads to Adobe Express and try changing the font of the main doc and re-uploading to see if that helps.

Please share your observations with us.

Best,

Amitej

Hi @kena_3547

Thank you for the additional details and sharing the PDF. I looked at the properties of the PDF in Acrobat. Even though the document is in English the data for the document said that it was in Chinese. I changed it to English in the properties and was able to convert it successfully. I'll attach the PDF that I converted the properties for and a screenshot.

Best,

Dave

Hi Dave,

I thought something like that would be the reason but didn't think of looking for the document language in Acrobat. I only checked the document information on my Mac...

Thanks for your help and for changing it to English!
