Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am contacting you with a question about the commercial use of Adobe Express. I have read your terms of service, but am still not quite sure.
Am I allowed to first use the template for YouTube Shorts, upload a blank video, add an audio file to it, generate captions with a specific font (for instance blocks or outline) and specific colours with Adobe Express and then use the finished video commercially on social media like YouTube, Instagram and TikTok?
All of this would be done with the free version of Adobe Express. I would greatly appreciate an employee helping me with this question.
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards

Hey there,
thank you for the quick reply.
This definitely helped, however, I haven't come across my specific issue.
Could you please clarify if I am allowed to do all this and monetarize / use the finished videos commercially?
Thank you again!
Kind regards

Hi @orion00.
Thank you for your question! Yes, you can use Adobe Express, even the free version, to create and publish videos commercially on platforms. This includes using templates, adding your own audio, and generating captions with different fonts and colors.
A few important points to keep in mind:
Once you confirm the licensing for any assets included, you’re good to go!
Hope this helps, and thank you for using Adobe Express.
Regards
Chaimaa

Hi,
thank you again for the quick answer.
How can I make sure any assets in Adobe Express, be it a font, a colour, or a template, are approved for commercial use?
Thank you.
Kind regards

Hi orion00, all the assets in Adobe Express are sourced from Adobe Stock. An Adobe Stock perpetual, worldwide license allows you to use your licensed asset in all media, including print, presentations, broadcasts, websites, and on social media sites.
Please refer to these resources and see what matches best for your use

Hi! I would like to add to this question. I find it very difficult to understand which photos, videos comes under which license and what I am allowed to use and not. When I press on a photo or video I cannot see this information anywhere. Our business has the premium version. Is there a way to ensure/search for videos photos allowed for commercial use? Also I am wondering if I can use small sections of videos and put together into a longer? Thanks in advance!
