Emojis are not displaying in text when placed in. Adobe Express should support this, there is currently no compatability to place emojis in as text.
I believe this is a feature that we plan on adding

Awesome. That helped. I appreciate it! A few extra steps, but I can now do what I want. You're a gentleman and a scholar. 🙂

Hey.. you can look at page 1 but here is a quick explanation:
Got it.. here is an explanation on how to use it:
1) Download the font NotoColor Emoji
2) Upload the font NotoColor Emoji inside Adobe Express (under text you see the option)
3) Open the font on Font Book (MacOS) or similar, so you can see the emojis, select and copy.. or Here you can also see all emojis from this font: https://fonts.google.com/noto/specimen/Noto+Color+Emoji/glyphs
4) On Adobe Express open a text box with NotoColor Emoji selected as the font and paste it.

Just truly unbelievable that something that is considered such a common basic element in the age of social media, that literally EVERY social media platform has seamlessly integrated into it, is not avaialble in the web platform from the "king" of design tool companies. I've been using Adobe products since 1991. Literally using PageMaker since it was Aldus PageMaker, before Adobe bought them out. Photoshop since v2.0. Dreamweaver since it was Macromedia Dreamweaver, before Adobe bought them out. Things for Express that I have to go search online for 5 or 10 minutes to figure out where they are and/or how to access/use them, that I can go to Canva (which I never even touched before 7 months ago) and do what I want to do in under a minute. I just don't get it. It's like someone said: Hey, let's design an online platform that kinda looks like Canva, but is as complex and arduous to use as Premiere or After Effects. Oh, by the way, make sure you don't include emojis, 'cuz who would want to use those anyway...?!?
