Dear Adobe Express Forum

I hope you’re having a fantastic day! I’m reaching out with a request that may require a little creative magic on your part.

My name is Bob, and I am working on a hilarious, giraffe-themed animation project for my young grandchildren, Esther and Elijah. The star of the show? A giggle-inducing giraffe named Giggles—she’s got the jokes, the charm, and an uncontrollable case of the giggles!

However, I face visual difficulties that make creating animations on my own nearly impossible.  (I am registered blind and use specialised audible software on my PC. However, I firmly believe that my abilities far surpass any limitations my disability might impose.) While I love the idea of crafting something fun and engaging, I firmly subscribe to YDI—"You Do It"—because DIY isn't quite in my skillset!

Would it be possible for your talented team to assist in animating Giggles, syncing her to a funny voice recording, and helping bring her delightful personality to life? I’d be thrilled to collaborate in any way that makes the process easier.

Giggles is practically bursting with comedic charm! Here are some hilarious traits that would make her an instant hit with Esther and Elijah:

  • Uncontrollable Giggles – Every time she tells a joke, she gets the giggles so badly that she has to take a deep breath before finishing the punchline.
  • Over-the-Top Neck Moves – She dramatically stretches and twists her neck to emphasise jokes, sometimes accidentally knocking things over!
  • Mismatched Spots – She has one rogue spot shaped like a banana, and she insists it’s the reason she’s so funny.
  • Silly Voice – She speaks in a bubbly, high-pitched tone or deep, exaggerated drawl, depending on the joke.
  • Overexcited Reactions – She belly-laughs so hard that her legs wobble and her tail swirls like a helicopter.
  • Dramatic Eye Rolls – After a really silly joke, she throws in a massive eye roll for extra comedic effect.
  • Clumsy Charm – She’s always tripping over her own long legs or mistaking trees for microphone stands!

And of course, Giggles comes prepared with some neck-stretching humor!

Here are her jokes:

  1. Why do giraffes have long necks? Because their feet smell!
  2. What do you call a giraffe with no spots? A nekkid giraffe!
  3. Why did the giraffe get bad grades? Because he always looked over the teacher’s head!
  4. What do you call it when a giraffe swallows a toy jet? A “plane in the neck.”
  5. How do giraffes say hello? “Neck to meet you!”

To kick off her comedy routine, she’ll introduce herself with:

"Hello, my name is Giggles, and your Grumpy Grandad wanted me to come and tell you some jokes. So here we go—take a mouthful of water and try not to laugh!"

I’ve also attached a picture to show how Giggles might look—feel free to bring your creative touch to her design!

Thank you so much for considering this request. I promise Giggles will deliver top-tier laughs!

Best wishes,
Bob

Hi

@Adorable_Enigma2203

,

Thank you so much for your wonderful message—it absolutely made our day! We already love Giggles (especially that rogue banana-shaped spot!) and can only imagine how much joy she’ll bring to Esther and Elijah.

While we’re unable to create the animation project for you directly. We’re genuinely honored that you reached out and would love to help guide you toward bringing Giggles to life in the best way possible. Since you're using screen reader software and exploring creative storytelling, here are a few suggestions that might support your vision:

  1. Adobe Express (with voiceover support )– If you already have a voice recording of Giggles’ introduction and jokes, you can upload that to Adobe Express and combine it with images, animated text, and transitions to create a slideshow-style video. Our drag-and-drop interface and animation features can help bring visual rhythm to her performance.

  2. Adobe Character Animator  – For full animation with synced voice acting and expressive movements (like those neck twirls and eye rolls!), Adobe Character Animator could be a fantastic fit. If you have someone who can help you set it up, you can import artwork of Giggles and even use audio lip-sync to animate her speech automatically.

Regards,

Tarun
