+ icon to add new layer

New Here ,
Dec 06, 2025 Dec 06, 2025

Please add + icon in layers area to add a new layer. Expecting it to just do it when you add something is not working, it just replaces the image that's already there.

Also make computer app and online version same thing. It's confusing.

Who knows what version it is I'm talking about. Whole app is confusing to find anything in. Thinking of going back to canva, even though I don't want to because that was even worse when I left.

Hey @brent_3084

I am guessing that you want extra layers.
You may want to add your suggestion to:
Express (requests | ideas)

Cheers
Nate

Hi @brent_3084, thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback!

If you can share a screenshot of both the computer app and the online version, it'll help us differentiate it and share it forward.

Currently, it appears that you're referring to the desktop PWA app and the version accessed manually from any browser. They are both similar in nature; it's just that the PWA (Progressive Web App) accesses the Adobe Express website directly, providing faster loading times and excellent responsiveness. If they are signed in with the same Adobe ID, then all changes and updates to any project are reflected in real-time across all platforms.

Let us know if that is not the case with you!
