Issue with image quality after editing and exporting in Adobe Express

New Here ,

Hi everyone,

I am working on a project using Adobe Express, and I'm facing an issue with image quality after editing and exporting the final design. The visuals look clear inside Adobe Express during editing, but once exported, the image appears slightly pixelated or lower in resolution.

I have already tried:

  • Exporting in both PNG and JPG formats

  • Using high-quality download settings

  • Checking internet speed (since it's an online editor)

  • Re-uploading the image in higher resolution before editing

Despite that, there’s still a noticeable drop in quality, especially when using the design on larger screens and social media platforms.

Is there any recommended export setting or step to maintain original resolution quality? Also, does resizing images inside Adobe Express affect the final clarity?

Any guidance or best practices would be appreciated.

Hi @emma_brooks,

Thanks for sharing your experience – we understand how frustrating it can be when your designs look sharp in Adobe Express but appear pixelated after export.

A few things that might help:

  • Which browser are you using? Sometimes switching to Google Chrome can improve export quality.

  • Try adjusting the design dimensions to a larger size before exporting.

  • Keep your images at high resolution before uploading and avoid scaling them up inside Adobe Express.

  • Export in PNG when possible, as it preserves more detail than JPG.

Could you also share which browser version and operating system you’re using? This will help our team better understand and troubleshoot the issue.

Hi @emma_brooks ,

Thank you for sharing your experience. To help us better understand and explain what’s happening with your export, could you please provide:

  1. A copy of your document

  2. Step-by-step instructions on how you exported the page

For example, if your page is 1k × 1k with a bitmap fill that was originally 4k × 4k, the app will display the higher-resolution version while zooming in for maximum quality. However, when exporting a 1k × 1k page, the output will match that size, so some quality loss is expected.

Having your specific steps and file will help us explain and assist more accurately. Feel free to share this information through DM on the community for your privacy. Thanks
