Multipage slideshow with audio

I want a simple photo slideshow with audio in the background.

I was told it's possible and easy in Adobe Express, but it everything but. 

When I upload 35 photos, they're added as 'pages', but audio can only be added to one page at a time! So I either get 5 second clips of a song for each photo, OR I have to delete the whole project and start from the scratch - upload the first photo, add the music, then manually add each photo one by one as separate scenes.

That's... the opposite of clever, easy, or convenient, so I want to check if I'm missing something - if there is any other way of doing it in an easy way.

Am i the only one struggling with making a simple slideshow with video clips and photos combined into one show with audio? I finally did the cumbersome "add scene" to add each photo and video clip. The slideshow shows at bottom on the app in preview...but in the large viewing above the preview it is BLANK....shows nothing...just a play arrow on a white background.
