How is this simple, intuitive feature not on an adobe product? Crazy.
Instead, I have to copy/paste and painstakingly line-up the text to exactly where it needs to go. This UC is regarding different scenes within a page on Adobe Express video editor...which I'm coming to find is beyond subpar compared to Canva.
Who knows why Adobe chose the random paste placement that it does.

Hi
,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand you're able to copy the text on a video edit timeline and paste it into a different scene, but it's not pasting in the exact place you want. if that's correct, you can move the text on the video to a different scene. I think this a an expected behavior.
I will discuss this with our product team and get back to you. Meanwhile, you can share your feedback here- https://adobe.ly/49TacTm, as this page is being monitored by our product team.
Regards,
Tarun

Yep same issue here.
Also, I can duplicate the audio just fine after the last audio clip but for some reason any video or images overlap when duplicating or pasting. It's beyond odd Adobe has allowed it to be done this way.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue, but I wasn't able to replicate it. Do you have screenshots illustrating
- objects pasting in the wrong location across scenes (as in the original post)
- videos/images overlapping on paste. It wasn't clear to me if you are referring to overlap in physical space on the scene or in the timeline.
Thanks
