Secondary style for text

How do I find secondary style options for a text on this new version of express? I only use my app and cannot find it where it would normally be.

The new version of Express has a more flexible approach to secondary styles: you enter text editing mode, select the range of text you want to style as secondary, then apply any text attributes (font, color, size etc.) you wish. In fact, you can create as many styled ranges with different styles as you want!

One caveat is that certain attributes (shape, outline, shadow) are not applicable on ranges of text; these will apply to the entire text object.

Thank you. This did help! What does one have to do to be able to change the color of the outline? Why is the outline effects not an option?
