Created a business card. Saved it in the recommended png format. Realized that one element was misaligned. Uploaded the document, but it now appears as one image. All layers displayed on the side. Naively thought that I could just go and edit the text. It however only shows a new layer on topof the one I think I am unlocking, but it does not let me edit my initial text. Only add another layer on top! It cannot be possible that the layer cannot be edited when coming back in, no???
It sounds like you created a project and then downloaded it as a PNG file. Is this correct? <span;> <span;>You uploaded the downloaded PNG file back into express and are trying to edit it which is impossible. <span;>You need to go to the "Your Stuff" tab and click on the business card project you created. This is the original file where you can edit it and then re-download it in PNG format again.
Thank you. To your 1st quesiton the answer is "Yes". Then "yes" to your statement. I did go to "Your stuff" and did that, and the layers are displayed on the side, but there, I cannot change anything as it appears that the orignial business card if just one file. Will update redacted picture for you and Oh.N8 to see..
Welcome to the community! Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Could you try opening the project under Your Stuff and exporting it as a PDF? This might allow you to reopen the project and edit your design or elements.
Thank you, Tarun, but it does not seem to work. No way to edit. However, if I were to stupidly re-create a new one from scratch, how does I save it in a way enabling me to re-edit it afterwards without running into these issues?
Hey, which text layers are you trying to edit? It looks like you have two layers that are "locked". You can't edit locked layers until you unlock them.
