“Adobe Express is not available” — https, signed in, …

New Here ,
Dec 19, 2024 Dec 19, 2024

I see the following messages when running the examples from https://github.com/AdobeDocs/cc-everywhere

“Adobe Express is not available”.

“You do not have access to this service. Contact your IT administrator to get access.”

With the Adobe account I’m signed in with, I do have access to Express.

Reproduction

1. I downloaded the example from Github and followed the instructions.

2. I installed local certificates.

3. Server is running on https://localhost:8000

Allowed domains includes that localhost port.

So… what does the error tell me? Is something wrong with my personal Adobe account or is it the API key?

I tried using the app without being signed in… same error.

I tried using the app without API key… same error.

The error is way too generic 😞

What can I do?

Actually: If I try the app without being signed in, it works. So what’s wrong with my Adobe account?

Hello,

Could you please send the API key to my email, njalal@adobe.com, so I can investigate this issue further?

Thank you.

@getflourish , You need an API key and an Adobe Account to use the SDK.

Check the help article on how to create an Adobe account.
Check our guide to read further on
how to get an API key

Once you have the API key, please use our Getting Started with the Adobe Express Embed SDK to integrate it.

If you have already created an API key that does not work, please send it to my email, njalal@adobe.com, so that I can investigate this issue further. Also, mention which step of the Getting Started with the Adobe Express Embed SDK tutorial you cannot proceed with.
