I had not used firefly then pan was not breaking all the things, but it is really anoying. Today I have prepared image of generative fill and forgot that pan does this destruction, and did try to use pan and remembered too late. And @droopydog500  it is quite impossible to add image of thing witch happens in one click. One moment you are zoomed into your picture Adding area that should be filled, then you press Pan, then another moment boom there is no area you have added and there is no way to undo that 😞

I remembered that I can just record the screen when this thing with pan is happening. So here is the video showing how this problem is happening https://drive.google.com/file/d/10J0p2R8lVvAGvI_eGVBsLUuzr0LFhTAf/view?usp=sharing

Hello @dzonatanas,

My apologies, I misunderstood what you were saying. It would be a good feature change to preserve the selection when you click pan.  I would note it is possible to use trackpad motions to accomplish the same thing. The two finger squeeze motion can make bigger/smaller, and two finger move left/right will pan even in the insert and remove modes.

My best,

    droopy
