Gemini not referencing images

Hello, 

Unfortunately I have noticed that the Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana) is no longer referencing the images I upload. Unfortunately I didn't figure this out until I used most of my credits 😞  Can you please assist? Thank you in advance! 🙂

Yes here it is, I was asking it to turn the outline blue instead of black to test it  🙂

Ok, I think the problem is that is a transparent image. When I converted it not to be a transparent image, it seems to work as you hoped:
