Image disappeared from generative fill, was working on it for hours.

I was working on an image which I was working on for hours in generative fill when I got an "aw snap" screen, returning to the previous page or reloading has caused me to lose the image and all the work put into it. Is there an off chance Adobe keeps works that are being worked on? It is really painful that this has happened.
