Cordialement,

Thibaud

Hello,

I am currently experiencing several issues with Firefly. Although I am logged in with my professional account, when I launch a prompt, nothing happens, yet my credits are still being deducted.

Additionally, I would like to understand why the “authorized to use third-party images” feature does not seem to work properly. Is this due to a specific setting or restriction?

Hey @InStories_ai

I would recommend reaching out to Adobe directly about this issue.

Hello @InStories_ai,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you are having this problem.

Although I'm logged in with my work account, when I run a prompt, nothing happens, but my credits are still deducted.

This is generally a sign that something is blocking the connexion to Adobe servers. There are several possible reasons. Here are some things to try:

  1. Ensure you are running a supported operating system and browser. That list is located here: Technical requirements. Even if an unsupported version worked before, it might not work now.
  2. Try restarting the browser.
  3. Try using an alternative browser. If that works, it is likely a browser extension that is interfering. You could try to use private browsing or incognito mode in your regular browser, but some browser extensions work in those modes as well, so it is not a completely effective test. If an alternative browser works, you will then need to go through your extensions one by one to find the one that is interfering and either disable it or configure it not to interfere with Adobe sites (for example an aggressive ad blocker which blocks the Firefly web site).
  4. If you are using a VPN, try using without a VPN.
  5. Try an alternative network connexion. For example, if you are connected to a home network, try connecting to your phone as a wifi hotspot. This can help determine if it is a network issue.
  6. If you are running windows, reset the windows firewall to the default configuration.
  7. If you are running MacOS, look to see if there are any lines in the file /etc/hosts that are "adobe.com". If so, delete them. Be very careful editing this file as changing other lines can cause problems.
  8. If you are running a Mac with Sequoia, try upgrading to the latest OS update to 15.0.1 or later.

If you are on a corporate managed computer, your IT staff should know about this document and ensure that these domains are allowed through firewalls/proxies: Domains to be allowed for Adobe apps & services to function correctly.

If none of these solve the problem, please tell us what OS and browser you are using and the versions.

Also, I'd like to understand why the "be allowed to use third-party images" feature doesn't seem to work properly. Is it related to a specific setting or a restriction?

I am not sure I understand your question. Are you referring to this dialogue box:

If so, it is saying in order to use an image as a reference image, you have to have rights to use the image. You should not take an image where the copyright is owned by someone else and you do not have rights to use it.

If that was not what you were asking, please explain further.

Thanks,

I have combined these two threads together as they seem to be the same issue.
